Cake Smash Sessions

Due to limited booking, we are only offering sets that we currently have in our inventory. Feel free to let us know what theme and/or color scheme and we will let you know if we have it. If for some reason we cannot meet your theme we do offer local referrals. Our cake smash session includes a smash setup. Contact us to book your session today!

Custom Cake Design

Due to our baker retiring, we are currently unable to offer custom cakes with our smashes. Smashes include a plain white cake. If you wish for a specific design we do have bakers we can refer you to, to come up with the perfect cake for your session.

Cake Smash Frequently Asked Questions

*Is there someplace to clean up after the cake smash?

Yes. We have wipes and a towel in the studio but everyone has access to a restroom and sink if needed.

*How long is a cake smash session?

Most cake smashes sessions last 30-45 minutes.

* Why is this session only 45 minutes?

Based on lots of experience babies lose interest quickly. They will only take being picked up and put back in a spot for about 30-45 minutes, before getting really angry.

*Is the cake included?

A plain white cake is included with the session.

*Do I need to bring anything for the smash?

We ask that parents bring a sippy cup or bottle that Baby can drink in between bites. The sweetness & frosting can make Baby thirsty. We also suggest bringing cheerios or puff snacks just in case Baby is not interested in the cake, these snacks can be put in the cake to achieve the shot of Baby digging in.

*Can I bring outfit changes?

Absolutely! Most clients bring 2 outfits, one before the smash and one for the smash. We do ask for no more than 2 changes as it can make a little one irritated and we don't want a mad smasher. The actual cake smash can be done in an outfit of your choosing or just a simple diaper cover....it is all up to you.

*Are family shots included in a cake smash session?

If we do, this portion is quick and takes place at the beginning of a session. It is typically done on a solid-colored backdrop from the waist up. At this age, interest wears out fast! When we get to the cake smash portion, it's just for babies by themself.

*How far in advance should I book a session?

Cake smashes are very limited. Contact us to check availability for your smash session!

*Anything else we should know?

Please DO NOT schedule any well-child immunization appointments during the week and even on the day of the scheduled sessions. Immunizations will likely cause an unhappy smasher.

Mom & Dad or whoever will be the baby wrangler should bring an extra change of clothes. Cake smashes are so much fun but can get messy!
